Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd received the ASEAN Occupational Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) Best Practice Award for its efforts in promoting safety and health standards in the workplace.
The accolade was presented during the 5th ASEAN OSHNET Awards ceremony on September 11 in Singapore.
The ASEAN OSHNET Awards, initiated in 2016, recognise enterprises across ASEAN member states that exhibit excellence and best practices in occupational safety and health (OSH) management.
Eight enterprises were honoured for their exemplary OSH systems this year, reflecting ASEAN’s commitment to fostering public-private partnerships aimed at enhancing workers’ well-being, safety, and health throughout the region.
This marks the second time Megamas Training Company has received awards from ASEAN OSHNET, having won the ASEAN OSHNET Excellence Award in 2022.
Megamas Training Company General Manager Michael Stringer said, “This award is a testament to the hard work at Megamas.
“Our commitment to safety and health in the workplace is what drives our success and recognition.”
Megamas Training Company also expressed gratitude to the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) for nominating them.
