Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd recently received the Occupational Health and Safety Award from RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) for their contribution to improving health and safety standards.

The award was presented by Michael Parker CBE, RoSPA Vice Chairman, during the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards ceremony held on the 14th of May, 2014 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. The RoSPA awards are given for the ultimate recognition of dedication to excellence in Occupational Health and Safety Management and an on-going commitment to workplace safety.

RoSPA is a registered charity that has been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world for more than 90 years. The organisation presents achievement awards based on an organisation’s individual occupational health and safety performance, accident records and overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards aim to recognise the commitment to accident and ill-health prevention in businesses and organisations of all types and sizes.

Michael Stringer, Megamas Operations Manager, said: “We are delighted that our comprehensive approach to occupational safety and health has been recognised by one of the world’s leading authorities on safety matters. The safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, course participants and contractors is paramount and we work hard to ensure that we all embrace safe working practices.”
