MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd recently held a dinner at the StarLodge Hotel for 97 staff and family members to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary.

The evening saw a presentation of the Long Service Awards by the guest of honour, Hajah Khadijah Mohamed, Megamas Managing Director, to staff members who have been in service for more than 10 years with the company.

Seventeen staff have worked for Megamas for longer than 10 years, with some even having up to 20 years. They represent 20 per cent of the total staff.

In his welcoming speech, Mohd Roger Ainsworth, Megamas General Manager, paid tribute to the dedication and loyalty of the staff who helped bring up the image, quality and reputation of the company.

“25 years is a long time, and there have been many challenges, yet, it has been a journey mostly full of excitement, rewards and satisfaction.”

“There have been many significant milestones during these 25 years, including being the first training provider in the world to conduct the OPITO Tropical BOSIET in 2000.”

He further added, “The management feels a great sense of pride to know that the company has helped play a part in many of the local staff’s success stories and helped create a platform for them to achieve their personal dreams.”

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of Tabung Tekad Haji to 57 muslim staff by the guest of honour.
