CITB stands for Construction Industry Training Board which was established on 21 July 1964.
The CITB supports both employers and apprenticeships by offering a wide range of construction and management training courses.
The CITB also sets the standards in the construction industry, and is a leading awarding organisation.
The Careers Progression Tool has been developed to support those looking to start a career in Construction with information about a wide range of career options and what skills and qualifications help you to achieve them.
The General Manager of Megamas (Mohd Roger Ainsworth) commented “It is indeed a prestigious award – the CITB certification – to have received and we congratulate all those here today for being presented with this internationally –recognised qualification.”
Megamas is also one of the Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s), who have currently trained 21 young school leavers to be a competent scaffolder under the Energy Industry Competency Framework (EICF). These students undergo 9 months training programme at Megamas and are due to graduate in early October 2014.
