This course is designed to educate and train participants on the knowledge and skills necessary for emergency situations in helicopter travel to offshore locations and installations. Participants will be educated on the processes, procedures and arrangements with regards to offshore travel, living, working, emergency systems and survival and rescue.

Participants will be trained to utilise safety and survival equipment such as various types of lifejackets as well as marine liferafts. Participants will also learn survival techniques and procedures for emergency situations during helicopter travel.
