This course aims to ensure participants understand and apply the HSE Management System within the work environment under their control, with a particular focus on the practical application and integration of HSE in the workplace. Participants will be educated on being able to state the company’s overall approach to HSE management and how it affects their role and how to demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to support the HSE management system in the workplace.

Participants will also be trained to ensure the HSE Policy and Strategic Objectives would have a relevant influence on working practices within their area of control, as well as organise the work in such a manner as to ensure that it is done at all times by competent people operating within an approved process. Participants will be educated on the HEMP technique to minimise and manage risks in the planning and implementation of work as well as the utilisation of agreed processes for work planning and monitoring of plan results to ensure compliance.
