This is a comprehensive course for those working or wishing to work as security guards.

Participants will be educated and trained on the roles and responsibilities of a security guard; this includes the codes of conduct as well as the relevant law and legislation for the individual. Participants will be trained on the practical aspects of the job as well, such as security awareness and patrolling techniques, access control and building security as well as searching of vehicles and personnel.

Participants will also be trained on usage of security documentation and CCTV as well as incident response. As part of incident response, participants will be trained on the usage of force and its limitations, as well as arrest and restraint techniques and first aid. Fire prevention knowledge will also be included in this course.
