A starting point for anybody wishing to work in the scaffold industry as a scaffolder, this course aims to provide an introduction to scaffolding, covering the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of a range of scaffolding structures.

Participants will be educated and trained on the correct and safe methods of erecting independent scaffolds, scaffolds with returns and tower scaffolds in tube and fitting, as well as the regulations and work methods for safe erecting, alteration and dismantling of scaffolds. Participants will be able to identify correctly material requirements, manipulate material in scaffolding erection and ensure that scaffolds are constructed following safe systems of work.
