This course is designed to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake slinging and rigging duties on BSP onshore and offshore facilities. The course will also refresh and update participants in the most recent updates in procedures and safety as well as an appreciation of the Shell and Government Laws and Regulations with regards to rigging & slinging.

Topics covered in this course includes correct PPE usage, relevant roles in a lifting operation, risk assessment, lift plans and safe working practices. Participants will be educated on the safe usage of Rigging and Lifting Equipment, the identification & inspection of Lifting and Rigging Equipment and its storage and maintenance.
