This is an in depth course aimed at individuals whose duties include planning and providing security for large public events such as concerts and sporting events.

The participant will be educated and trained on risk assessment, ensuring public safety as well as the management of traffic and parking and crowd control. Participants will also be trained on the protocol involving VIP attendees, facility configurations as well as the security measures for such events, which include operations centre management, fire prevention, evacuation procedures and medical coverage. As part of the course, participants will also be trained on media relations as well as liaison and co-ordination with the police force.
