This course provides eligible participants with the necessary understanding to be able to undertake the responsibilities of their role within the BSP PTW (ISSOW) system.

The need for permit to control work with a potential high risk is explained, as is the types of permit and typical activities controlled by them. Other relevant issues within the system are also discussed in the course.

A simulation of the PTW (ISSOW) system life cycle role play by the participants would require them to participate in role playing sessions with other participants as well as members of the training team during the course; this is a major pre-requisite for participants in order for them to practice techniques which would be included in the training.

A written assessment is given to verify understanding.
