This course aims to train the participant in the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to perform the role of Emergency Response Team Member effectively. Participants will gain awareness into the emergency response arrangements at offshore locations including incident planning and monitoring and fixed fire systems.

This training includes accessing and safely traversing an incident area, locating and handling missing and/or injured personnel, selection and usage of portable and fixed fire-fighting equipment in controlled situations and communication procedures during an emergency.

The course includes a written knowledge assessment practical assessment of competence covering all aspects of the Emergency Response Team Member role.
