This course is designed to introduce participants on HSE Management Systems and their responsibilities and accountability under it. This includes the definition of Health, Safety and Environment as well as describing the structure of the HSE Management System and the responsibilities related to its implementation.

Participants will be able to describe the organisation required to implement the system as well as the Hazards and Effects Management Process (HEMP). They will be able to state how plans and procedures are used to achieve good HSE performance and be able to describe how to implement and monitor them. The participants will also be able to be able to state the purpose of HSE auditing and verification and their role within the process as well as describe the management review process.
