This course prepares participants for the role of Helicopter Landing Officer and Helideck Assistant by developing both knowledge and practical skills. Deck inspection & preparation, loading and unloading of passengers and goods (including Dangerous Goods), weather forecasting and helicopter identification will be included in this course.

Participants will also be trained in the usage of fire-fighting equipment as well as casualty management.
