The aims of this course is to increase the awareness of participants about the hazards and dangers associated with everyday driving as well as the various safety checks and measures to mitigate such dangers.

This course is designed to train participants in best practices for safe driving such as pre-journey vehicle & driving checks, Fitness to Drive assessment, driving with an onboard ‘System of Vehicle Control’ and other Defensive Driving techniques.

Participants will also be educated on Brunei road traffic regulations and highway signs as well as intrinsic and non-intrinsic vehicle HSE practices and equipment. This includes driving posture, vehicle safety equipment (e.g. seatbelts, airbags, ABS, IVMS, etc), safe stopping distances, crash management and adverse weather conditions compensation.
