This comprehensive course is designed for those wishing to work as; or assigned to perform duties of Close Protection Officers providing security for diplomats, executives and VIPs.

Participants will be trained and educated on various aspects of this course which includes the roles and responsibilities of the position as well as the relevant law and legislation applicable to the position. Security threat and assassination techniques awareness will also be a part of this course; participants will be trained on threat and risk assessment as well as logistics and operational planning.

Participants will also be trained on the security aspect of the role; ensuring the VIP’s safety through reconnaissance, route selection and venue-based security including residential and office areas. Participants will be trained in the individual and team formation aspect of security, as well as incident response and conflictmanagement. Conflict management training includes live scenarios such as physical intervention; armed and unarmed CQB techniques as well as first aid.
