This course aims to develop the practical skills and knowledge in the use of breathing apparatus and requirements for working in vessels or confined spaces. This includes PTW system awareness in relation to confined space entry.

The training includes planning and methodology for mechanical isolation, identification, pre-check and usage of the correct personal and respiratory protective equipment, specific hazards for specific confined space operations and tasks as well as communication and entry and exit points for vessels and confined spaces.

The course includes a written knowledge assessment and practical assessment to assess the competency of the participant.
