This course aims to provide participants with a clear understanding of the most common types of asbestos, its dangers, where it might be found and actions to be taken. Participants will also be educated on the legal requirements as well as the main health effects from asbestos exposure and the RPE & PPE to be used in an asbestos-filled work area.

Participants will also be trained in the precautions to be taken for asbestos removal works, which includes arrangement of the hygiene facility, air sampling, waste management as well as the post works. This would include visual inspection and air testing.
